I saw this when I came home tonight! Cops didn't allow us to go down our block so we had to walk around it to get our homes. It seemed like an explosion or something, there were even tvs interviewing people. Strange scene to see when you think you finally made home after a long day. I had a really wonderful night with M. though. We went to dinner in midtown and then just walk around the streets of the city, which lead us to downtown, union square. It's so easy to go almost everywhere just by walking in NYC. That's one of the things I love about it. Everyone is walking, there are always people on streets trying to get through their way; something either annoying or just fun to observe depending on your mood. Tonight it was fun for me. People were out to pack places for a drink, because it's Friday. And, we ended up in some place for a desert, which was crowded, noisy but not disturbing. But I had a hard time focusing on our chat with M. while a couple right next to her making out almost violently! It was gross, hah!.. And this, on my coming home. I'm hoping that nobody got hurt.
