it's been a happy day. I went to work, which wasn't bad at all. T. was there too. I've been thinking lately that since this is the end of the semester, these are actually the last days that I get to see some of my friends here. T. is one of them. I haven't been talking to him for the last few weeks, I mean we were kinda busy because the students get panicked during the final weeks and they actually start to come to their appointments on time. So, we haven't had much chance to talk as much as we used to.
Today T. , Ann and I again had one of those long, fun chats. Y. joined us later and M. sat nearby so that she could hear us as well. It was fun. Ann is awesome, T. and Ann get along very well too. So we never have a hard time finding things to talk about. We get into talking and talking so easily, which is one of the best things that can happen to friends.. oh and to lovers, I guess.T. is such a sweetheart. I was sitting there, sipping my tea and I overheard his session with his student. At one point he said to the student: "you should totally be proud of yourself!!" and he repeated it for a few times with the feeling! I could see the big smile on the girl's face. He was very nice really. There is nothing negative or unlikable about him, he's charming all over. He told us about his parents' visiting him in the city during the weekend, which was so nice and interesting to hear about. The conversation later somehow turned to me and my family, and just stayed there for like a good half an hour. I was kinda happy telling about my real life and seeing them really surprised and all. I heard really nice things today, Ann and T. made my day.
After work E. took me to this Dominican place she was telling me about for ages in the lower east side. We ate a lot and talked a lot. She is nice. She took me to Katz's as well.. such an american experience :) the place is like 117 years old, nearly as old as america itself, heh. the walls were full of pictures of celebrities who had a bite there.. from Clinton [well, he wasn't really a president, right? he'd never been. he is more like a celebrity! :)] to Johnny Depp. and tons of others I don't even know.. We then took a walk and I happened to find myself walking along the Clinton Street. Guess it reminded me whom? ;) [yea mate!]. I was hearing the Leanord Cohen song and thinking of you and telling E. about the song and how it mentions it...
